Discover the intersection between digital technologies and healthcare, see first-hand people-oriented innovation with purpose, rebuilding the health care sector to address the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and crisis ensuring a more equitable and resilient health future!
The event wwill take place at Station F in Paris, France on the 21st of September with the theme of creating resilient innovation ecosystems in health. Participants will have the possibility to meet with ecosystem partners and EIT Health supported start-ups.
The conference will be co-organised by EIT Health with EIT Manufacturing and the contribution of the other EIT Innovation Communities: EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Food, EIT Climate-KIC, EIT Digital and EIT Raw Materials.

Dit agentschap stimuleert onderzoek en innovatie in Europa. Hiervoor worden kennis- en innovatiegemeenschappen in het leven geroepen, de zogenaamde KIC's (Knowledge and Innovation Communities) waarin Europese universiteiten, onderzoekscentra en bedrijven hun krachten bundelen. Momenteel zijn er KIC's voor de thema's informatie- en communicatietechnologie, duurzame energie, klimaatverandering, volksgezondheid en grondstoffen. Nederlandse universiteiten zijn sterk vertegenwoordigd in deze KIC's. Het is de bedoeling dat de KIC's de beste talenten van Europa en daarbuiten weten aan te trekken.
Naast de stimulering van innovatie met KIC's wil het EIT nieuwe oplossingen aandragen voor grote uitdagingen als globalisering en klimaatverandering. Verder stelt het EIT zich ten doel de economische groei en werkgelegenheid te bevorderen door een betere samenwerking tussen hoger onderwijs, onderzoek en bedrijfsleven.
