Three Seas Initiative ministerial conference on digital transformation
The Slovenian Presidency of the Council of the EU, in partnership with the Atlantic Council, will organise Three Seas Initiative ministerial conference on digital transformation, which will be held on 30 November 2021 at the Brdo Congress Centre (Slovenia) . The topics of the conference will be the development of the Digital Single Market and transatlantic cooperation.
The conference will provide the Three Seas Initiative countries and their ministers responsible for digitalisation with their first opportunity to open the debate on the digital pillar and to identify a pathway for further discussions on integration and strengthening transatlantic cooperation.
The closed conference "The Digital Agenda for Rebooting Europe's Economy" will bring together ministers from the Three Seas Initiative countries to discuss and exchange good practices in the areas of digitalisation in education, healthcare and public administration. The ministers will also discuss strategic sovereignty and the semiconductor strategy, transatlantic cooperation and the development of the Digital Single Market.
The afternoon part of the conference will include a discussion divided into two or three thematic segments, which are to be carried out a hybrid format and will bring together participants in the Three Seas Initiative conference on digital transformation and representatives of the private sector. The discussion will focus on strengthening the digital economy in the region as well as explore opportunities for strategic partners to work together to develop the digital market of the Three Seas Initiative countries.
