On 17 February 2020, the Council adopted Decision (CFSP) 2020/215 amending Council Decision 2011/101/CFSP.
The Decision extends the restrictive measures until 20 February 2021.
The Decision deletes one deceased person from the list of designated persons and entities in Annex I to Decision 2011/101/CFSP. The restrictive measures are renewed for four persons and one entity in Annex I to Decision 2011/101/CFSP. The restrictive measures are suspended for one person. The suspension of the restrictive measures is renewed for three persons listed in Annex II to Decision 2011/101/CFSP.
The Candidate Countries Republic of North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Albania, the country of the Stabilisation and Association Process and potential candidate Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the EFTA countries Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, members of the European Economic Area, as well as Ukraine, the Republic of Moldova and Georgia align themselves with this Council Decision.
They will ensure that their national policies conform to this Council Decision.
The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
