Groep ACS (ACS)

Deze raadswerkgroep staat de Raad Buitenlandse Zaken van de Europese Unie bij op het vlak van ontwikkelings- en handelsrelaties met de 78 ACS-landen. Meer specifiek ondersteunt deze raadswerkgroep de Raad op de volgende punten:

  • Het implementeren van de partnerschapsovereenkomst (Cotonou Overeenkomst) tussen de EU en de ACS-landen;
  • Het ontwerpen van politieke richtlijnen voor de programmering en het management van ontwikkelingshulp aan ACS-landen;
  • Het onderhandelen over regionale economische partnerschapsovereenkomsten tussen de EU en deze landen.
