EU countries embrace deal for carbon market tool - Hoofdinhoud

A qualified majority of EU member states approved on Wednesday a political deal with the EU parliament on the introduction in 2019 of a market mechanism for the bloc's struggling emissions trading system. Only one final legislative hurdle is next, a vote in the EP's plenary session.
