Inhoudsopgave van deze pagina:
De raadsformatie Onderwijszaken, Jeugd, Cultuur en Sport (EJCS) bestaat uit de ministers (of staatssecretarissen) van onderwijs, jeugdbeleid en/of cultuur. Deze raad vergadert formeel vier keer per jaar, waarvan twee keer in de volledige samenstelling. Ook informele bijeenkomsten zijn mogelijk. Namens Nederland sluit doorgaans minister van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap Robbert Dijkgraaf (D66) aan.
De EU wil met haar acties op het gebied van onderwijs, jeugdzaken, cultuur en sport Europa's cultureel erfgoed helpen bewaren, de culturele en creatieve sectoren van Europa steunen, de mobiliteit van studenten en docenten aanmoedigen en lichaamsbeweging en sociale inclusie door middel van sport bevorderen.
