Thailand, as the current chair of ASEAN for 2019, together with ASEAN Embassies based in The Hague (Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Vietnam) will be organizing the ASEAN Business Forum 2019. With an interesting mix of session-topics related to the theme Advancing Partnerships for Sustainability - Business Opportunities in ASEAN, this event provides you ample opportunity to inform yourself on everything that ASEAN has to offer. This event is organized in collaboration with the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Confederation of Netherlands Industry and Employers VNO-NCW and MKB-Nederland.

The establishment of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has been a milestone in the integration process of the diverse economies into a single market. Together, ASEAN’s ten member states currently represent the 6th largest economy in the world, and ASEAN is projected to rank as the fourth-largest economy by 2030. Not surprisingly, investors and multinationals are increasingly turning their gaze southward to the variety of business opportunities in the region. The primary aim of the ASEAN Business Forum 2019 is to inform the Dutch business community of the opportunities that ASEAN has to offer. At this forum, ASEAN Trade and Investment representatives will present the latest developments that were undertaken in the AEC to further economic integration, and will inform the audience on the opportunities and benefits of the five ASEAN Member States.

You are cordially invited to attend the ASEAN Business Forum.

Please confirm your attendance and your preference (first option, and back-up option) for the break-out session you’d like to attend, i.e.
