The ALDE group will meet with Brigadier General Selim Idriss, Chief of Staff of the Free Syrian Army on Wednesday 6th March from 11.00 - 12.30 in JAN 4 Q 1 to discuss, first hand, the real situation on the ground in that country and the perception of the international community from within Syria from one of the leaders of the opposition forces.
The meeting will be open to all MEPs, and others with access to Parliament premises and journalists.
A press conference will follow afterwards for the benefit of the media.
