ORGANISATIONAL CONTEXT
The Victims' Participation and Reparations Sections seeks to fulfil the mandate of the International Criminal Court in terms of its obligations towards victims in respect of their rights to participate in proceedings and to claim reparations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs the following duties as instructed by the Chief of the Section, Legal Officer or Victims Applications Manager:

-Responsible for the input of confidential data into various electronic and/or hardcopy information storage systems, including scanning, photocopying and filing;

-Transcribe and type accurately from written applications, audio or video recording and other confidential material and standardise information whenever necessary;

-Participate in the maintenance of database by checking inaccuracies, missing information;
-
-Identify and request translation of document when needed;
-
-Extract information from database for the preparation of reports;
-
-Edit documents in accordance with pre-established guidelines;
-
-Redact confidential application forms or other material to be communicated outside the Section;
-
-Support associate/legal officers by drafting summaries, perform advanced searches and present reports using the electronic system;
-
-Propose improvements to Standards Operating Procedures;
-
-Occasionally liaise and communicate with other sections of the Court such as CMS, Travel, Finance, HR etc.;
-
-Performs other tasks to support the work of the Section as required.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Completion of secondary education.
Experience
Minimum four years of relevant experience working in an operational support environment, preferably with data input and/or administrative experience and/or analytical experience; prior experience in working with highly confidential information would be a strong asset.

Languages
Fluency in either of the working languages of the Court, English or French, is essential. Working knowledge of the other is desirable. Knowledge of another official language of the Court would be considered an asset (particularly Arabic).
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior work experience in legal institutions.
