­ Council Regulation amending Regulation (EC) No 2183/2004 extending to the non-participating Member States the application of Regulation (EC) No 2182/2004 concerning medals and tokens similar to euro coins ­ Adoption of the legislative acts

    The above proposals for Council Regulations were submitted by the Commission on 13 August 2008.
  • 2. 
    At its meeting on 19 November 2008 the Permanent Representatives Committee confirmed the outcome of the proceedings of the Working Party on Combating Fraud and reached a

political agreement on the two texts in 15662/08.

    The European Parliament delivered its opinion in December 2008, without proposing any amendments.

    The Permanent Representatives Committee is advised to recommend that the Council should adopt the two Regulations, the texts of which, as finalised by the lawyer linguists, will be

found in 16365/08 GAF 23 UEM 210 ECOFIN 572 and 16366/08 GAF 24 UEM 211

ECOFIN 572 respectively.
