The meeting was chaired by Gérard DEPREZ (ALDE, BE) and Philip BRADBOURN (PPE-DE,

UK).

It should be noted that the exchange of views on conditions of entry and residence of third-country

nationals for the purposes of highly qualified employment was withdrawn from the agenda.
