Subject: Summary of meeting of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) of the European Parliament, held in Brussels on 26 and 27 March 2008

The meeting was chaired by Gérard DEPREZ (ALDE, BE) and Philip BRADBOURN (PPE-DE,

UK).

It should be noted that the exchange of views on conditions of entry and residence of third-country

nationals for the purposes of highly qualified employment was withdrawn from the agenda.
