Subject: Summary of meeting of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) of the European Parliament, held in Brussels on 20 and 21 November 2007

The meeting was chaired by Stavros LAMBRINIDIS (PSE, EL), Panayotis DEMETRIOU (PPE-

DE, CY), Philip BRADBOURN (PPE-DE, UK), Kinga GÁL (PPE-DE, HU) and Giusto CATANIA

(GUE/NGL, IT).

It should be noted that the presentation by the Commission on the Communication from the

Commission to the European Parliament and the Council on Public-Private Dialogue in Security

Research and Innovation has been withdrawn from the agenda.
