I. Examination of reports as lead committee

    Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I)

    Consideration of compromise amendments

Mr DUMITRESCU (PSE, RO) proposed a vote in Committee on the compromise

amendments on 26 June 2007.

Given the progress of talks with the Council, Mr LEHNE (EPP-ED, DE) and Ms WALLIS

(ALDE, UK) suggested that the Committee postponed vote on the compromise amendments

until after the summer recess, in order to allow for further discussions on Article 5 of the draft

Regulation.

Decision on the date of the vote will be taken later.
